Will Havemeyer is a Co-Founder, Partner and Chief Legal Officer at Swift Current Energy. Bringing a versatile blend of energy, corporate and transactional experience, Will joined the founding team at Swift Current Energy in 2016. With expertise in navigating complex projects from concept to completion, Will touches all aspects of Swift Current Energy’s business, including project development, financing and operations.
Prior to joining Swift Current Energy, Will was an early member of the senior team at IMG Midstream, a private equity backed IPP developing and operating a fleet of distributed energy facilities in the Mid-Atlantic. Previously, while at Terra-Gen Power, Will served as financing and development counsel on the build-out and disposition of multiple utility-scale wind energy facilities. At First Wind, Will served as counsel on more than 2GW of wind, solar and natural gas project development, financing, acquisition and disposition efforts from Maine to Hawaii. Before working in the energy arena, Will advised large real estate developers and real estate investment managers at Goodwin Procter. Will received his B.A. in Government & Legal Studies from Bowdoin College and his J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law.
