Tyler Luong is a Project Controller at Swift Current Energy. In this role, Tyler supports the financial accounting function and controlling for Swift Current’s projects in early stage development through to operation.
Tyler brings to his role over 6 years of finance experience in the clean energy industry. Prior to joining Swift Current, Tyler handled technical accounting functionalities, with a focus on solar and battery storage projects, as Senior Accountant at Catalyze. While there, Tyler managed the day-to-day financial accounting activities for over twenty renewable projects from early stage development stage through to EPC and operation. Previously, Tyler was Staff Accountant at Advanced Power Services, where he was responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and budgeting and forecasting for the company’s portfolio of wind and solar projects. Tyler started his career as a financial operation analyst for a Boston wealth management firm and an accounts receivable and credit analyst at Clean Harbor Environmental Services.
Tyler holds an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the University of Massachusetts and is currently pursuing an MS in Analytical Accounting from Bentley University.
