Rick Miller is Vice President of Development at Swift Current Energy. Rick brings 15 years of renewable energy experience focusing on project development across multiple zero carbon technology platforms. He is dedicated to the rapid and just energy transition.
Prior to joining Swift Current Energy, Rick was the Senior Development Director at EDF Renewables where he successfully oversaw the permitting of over 5 GW of renewable energy projects and the development of over 1.6 GW of operational wind, solar and storage projects across the Western US. After completing his B.S. in Natural Resources Planning from CA State Polytechnical University Humboldt, Rick began his professional career as a land use planner for Mendocino County. In his role as Supervising Planner he earned a professional certificate from the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and later became part of the inaugural class of Certified Environmental Planners (CEP).
