Nicolette serves as Senior Vice President of Legal at Swift Current Energy. Having broad experience working for independent power producers in the energy industry, Nicolette coordinates development, construction, procurement, financing and operational efforts for Swift Current’s portfolio of wind, solar and energy storage projects.
Prior to joining Swift Current Energy, Nicolette was Senior Associate General Counsel at Enel Green Power, where she was responsible for managing all legal matters related to solar and wind projects across North America. Nicolette was also lead counsel for the Enel North America trading team, assisting with hedging and trading work for Enel’s operational projects. Prior to joining Enel, Nicolette was corporate counsel at InterGen, where she was responsible for day-to-day operational work for energy generation projects based in Mexico, the UK, the Netherlands and Australia.
Nicolette obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from Leicester University, UK and qualified as a solicitor of England and Wales, practicing within the property finance team at Womble Bond Dickinson (formerly Dickinson Dees) prior to being admitted to the Massachusetts bar. She also has a Master of Laws from Durham University, UK in European Legal Studies, and a Master of Laws from Boston University.
