Miguel serves as Vice President of Energy Markets and Analytics at Swift Current Energy. Miguel is an energy finance professional with more than 25 years of experience in multiple roles within the power generation value chain, including business development, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, budget and forecasting, market analysis, asset management, financial modeling, corporate strategy, and process optimization.
Prior to joining Swift Current, Miguel was the Director of Asset Management at CAMS and served in various roles at Duke Energy.
Originally from El Salvador, Miguel has an Industrial Engineering degree from Universidad Albert Einstein in El Salvador, an MBA from Instituto Superior de Economia y Administracion de Empresas (ISEADE), El Salvador, and a master’s degree in Finance (MFIN) from Tulane University.
