Jay Crawford serves as Executive Vice President of Asset Management and Operations at Swift Current Energy. Jay provides direct management to the Asset Management & Operations function, overseeing financial, commercial and operational performance, relating to Swift Current’s portfolio of renewable energy projects.
Jay brings over two decades of experience overseeing large-scale power generation assets across Solar, Wind and BESS. Most recently, as Partner and Head of Asset Management, Americas at InfraRed Capital Partners, Jay led the management of the firm’s $4B+ in infrastructure assets and directed a multi‑disciplinary team supporting their energy portfolio across North, Central and South America. Before that, Jay was the SVP of Asset Management at Cogentrix, where he was responsible for overseeing asset management, M&A and regulatory affairs for their 8,000+ MW of power generation assets, across PJM, ERCOT, ISO-NE and NYISO.
Jay received his B.S. from Texas A&M University and an MBA from the University of Houston.
