David Ludwig serves as the Director of Operational Systems at Swift Current Energy, where he leads the development and strategic deployment of the company’s operational systems. His responsibilities encompass cybersecurity, infrastructure, SCADA systems, control systems, substation monitoring technologies, and NERC Compliance.
David brings extensive experience spanning software, electrical, and mechanical engineering, with a strong emphasis on systems engineering. Throughout his career, he has designed and implemented custom control and data acquisition systems for emerging technologies within the energy and renewable energy industries. His prior roles include positions at Akuo Energy, Envision Energy, and Baker Hughes.
David holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with honors from the University of Houston. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
